The fracture surface of the tensile specimen shows ductile forced fracture (honeycomb fracture). The normalised microstructure consists of ferrite and pearlite. A macro-etching with PAG QT2 makes the dendritic solidification structure visible in the cross-section, which is still present in the segregations (Fig. 9).
