This high-speed steel produced by powder metallurgy contains approx. 1.2 % carbon, 6 % tungsten, 5 % molybdenum, 4 % chromium and 3 % vanadium.
The soft-annealed microstructure consists of fine carbides in a fine-grained ferritic matrix. The hardness is 250 HV 30.
