Heat-resistant duplex steel with higher resistance to sulfurous gases than austenitic high-temperature steels. Used, among other things, in furnace and apparatus construction. The microstructure consists of ferrite (gray), austenite (light) and bluish chromium carbides at the phase boundaries.
