Thermomechanically rolled (‘M’) structural steel with good cold formability (‘C’) and a minimum yield strength of 460 MPa. The microstructure is almost purely ferritic, the hardness is 205 HBW2.5/187.5. The angular gold-coloured precipitates are titanium carbonitrides.
