A 1.4462 (duplex) was welded with the filler metal (SZW) 1.4301.
In the HAZ, the microstructure consists of Widmannstätten ferrite in austenite. The microstructure in the base metal consists of austenite and ferrite (duplex). The hardness of SZW and GW practically does not differ and is 270 HV 0.5. In the HAZ, the hardness increases to around 290 HV 0.5.
