Due to its carbide content, this cobalt-based alloy is characterised by high hardness and wear resistance, even at high temperatures.
The alloy contains 0.9–1.4% C, 27–32% Cr, 3–6% W and a maximum of 3% Fe and Ni each.
The hardness is 420 HV 10.
