This near-eutectic aluminum casting alloy has the following mechanical properties in sand casting:
Without heat treatment:
Rp0.2=80 MPa, Rm=160 MPa, A >1%, 50 HBW2.5/62.5
T6 heat treatment:
Rp0.2=200 MPa, Rm=240 MPa, A >1%, 75 HBW2.5/62.5
The eutectic AlSi phase is refined.
