Etching3% Nital und PAG QT²

The fracture surface of the tensile specimen shows ductile honeycomb fracture.
Unetched, isolated small blowholes and many gas pores can be seen, as well as manganese sulphides (grey) and titanium carbonitrides (golden). The microstructure consists of tempered Martensite. A macro-etching with PAG QT² makes the dendritic cast structure visible, which is still present due to segregation.
