The micrographs show a sheet of Cu-OFE. The hardness is 54 HV0.2 in the first three images and 100 HV0.2 in the last three images.

It has a very fine-grained structure and consists of a pure automotive crystal lattice. This copper grade is high-purity, oxygen-free copper with at least 99.99% Cu. The high purity (< 5ppm oxygen) and the absence of oxidic inclusions result in a very high electrical conductivity. Furthermore, the material shows no susceptibility to hydrogen embrittlement. It has very good hot and cold formability and good corrosion resistance to atmosphere and water. It is practically insensitive to stress corrosion cracking.
