Austenitic nodular graphite cast iron, Ni-Resist grade, resistant up to about 1000°C and therefore used for housing parts for gas turbines, exhaust manifolds and turbocharger housings, among others.

The high nickel content provides for the austenitic structure, silicon for high scaling resistance. There is graphite degeneration at the cross-section transition. Small spheres arranged in a row (vermicular-like).
The hardness is 187 HBW2.5/187.5. The mechanical properties correspond to the target specifications:
Rp0.2: >200 MPa
Rm: >370 MPa
A: >10,0 %
