Inconel 600 (Nicrofer 7216H) with 14 – 17% chromium and 6 – 10% Fe is a nickel-chromium-iron alloy. The characteristic of this alloy is a good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, even at higher temperatures. The material is used, among others, in reactor construction and industrial furnace construction.
