1.2067 | 102Cr6 | SAE52100 | AMS6440 Incomplete martensitic transformation

In this 102Cr6, the martensitic transformation is incomplete. In addition to tempered martensite and white, round carbides, there is approx. 5% finely streaked perlite (troostite).
This indicates that either the quenching rate was not sufficiently high or that the sample was hardened at too low a temperature or for too short an austenitisation time.
