“LT = Low Temperature” Spheroidal graphite cast iron with guaranteed notched impact energy at low temperatures. The microstructure consists of >90% ferrite. The minimum tensile strength is 400 MPa, the minimum elongation at fracture 18%. Chunky graphite is occasionally present.
